This award winning sake (grand gold medal of IWC 2012) is carefully brewed from the highest quality of YAMADANISHIKI rice harvest in Special Region "A" of HYOGO pref.
It has been aged for 2 years in the unpasteurized state (NAMAZAKE) under 0 (zero) degree C. Pasteurized just before shipping. Although brewer classified it as a Tokubetsu junmai, it is in fact as good as a junmai daiginjyo as far as the polishing ratio is concerned at 50% polished. The taste is clean with no overpower nose, a well balance of taste & fragrance that comes with a hint of grapefruit at the tail. A well received premium sake by everyone. A must buy!
