Our History

Whistler Wine & Spirits Pte Ltd
Whistler was started in 1999 with the aim of providing Japanese Alcoholic Beverages ranges from well brewed mass market Sake and Shochu to exclusive & premium ranges for consumers to enjoy in Singapore.
Our logo shows the Taru (wooden barrel) that was once the main mode of transporting Sake in Japan in the old days. It expresses our focus and our core interesting in introducing and educating Singapore consumers in enjoying and making Sake one of their life style drinks at different occasions.
With the big leap in technologies over the last few decades, many breweries have been able to brew Sake with much precisions and controls that makes current Sake much refined and enjoyable compares to the old days.
Through the years, we have been introducing diversities in tastes and profiles of Sake from different prefectures of Japan. We hope to give Singapore consumers a whole new experiences by seeing (feels the diversities of range and bottle designs) as well as by tasting them (feels the diversities of aromas and profiles )and along the way getting to know how sake are brewed with different kind of Water, Sake rice and yeasts will make the whole experiences more interesting and fun.
As the Sake world evolves over the years with new generation of consumers that want not just the traditional Sake, we see new ranges of Sake-based drinks that are being developed by traditional Sake breweries. We have now many flavored Sake that are still/sparkling and fruity which has been very much accepted by the ladies in Singapore. Besides Sake, Shochu is a well known distilled spirits from Japan that we bring to Singapore.
